Parents Code Of Conduct


  • Please display good sportsmanship at all games and practices.

  • Please supervise your kids at all events.

  • Please do not instruct or criticize your kids from the stands.

  • Foul, abusive, or threatening language will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

  • Your child’s coach is a volunteer coach. 

  • If you have any concerns about the safety or welfare of your child or your child’s team please contact the director.

  • Your conduct during adversity may be the best thing your child learns from playing sports.

  • Being a part of Alcoa Youth Sports is a privilege. Please refrain from any type of behavior that would take this privilege away.

  • Have a positive experience and enjoy watching your child play!


Lightning Policy

  • In the event of thunder and/or lightning all players, fans, coaches, and umpires need to vacate the playing fields and bleachers and seek safe shelter. Players may not stay in the dugouts, restrooms, storage buildings, or concession stand. Please do not take shelter under large trees. Please go to your vehicles immediately and wait for further notice.

  • Play may not resume until 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder or strike of lightning. No exceptions. If the delay causes the games to restart too late, then they will be suspended and finished on another date.


  • You will receive a text from the staff as to the status of that evening’s ballgames in a timely manner.
